I woke up this morning at 5:00 am with the energy of a jackrabbit. I popped out of bed, brushed my teeth, and rolled out my yoga mat to practiced for an hour. Then I went to the gym and lifted weights and did some cardio. Back home by 8:30 to snuggle my baby and take my son to the bus stop.
I made myself a gourmet omelette, which I enjoyed with my vitamins while baby entertained himself in the play yard (which I would never jokingly call a cage). Then I did some gardening while baby watched from his bouncy chair without a peep.
Next, I fed baby and put him down for a nap. He slept for four hours straight. I got some writing done, some work done, and even managed to straighten my hair. And I had no trouble spitting out 500 words on a topic of little interest.
Then baby and I went on an adventure to Lowe’s to find the perfect flowers. We took a stroll in the park and watched the birds and the people. Baby didn’t cry once in the car. He coo’ed the whole time.
I came home in time to pick up my son from the bus stop. He had had a great day and told me all about it without me having to ask. He told me about his feelings and how much he loves me. Then we went for a walk / rollerblade. I rollerbladed and he walked.
Then we came home and my son did all his homework and chores. He even washed his clothes. It was his idea.
I cooked a delicious, healthy meal while baby watched from his high chair. Hubs came home and we all ate together and enjoyed one other’s company. Baby ate his baby food like a champ. The dishes washed themselves after dinner.
I fed baby and put him down to sleep. I had two hours to relax and read before heading to bed for eight hours of interrupted sleep.
